Photo series: Medfield Volleyball wins championship

Speeding cars on Bridge Street took center stage at Tuesday’s Selectmen meeting, and Police Chief Robert Meaney said he’d like to add new traffic signs to the extra patrols he's using to fight the problem.

The Icky Sticky Goo program at the Pfaff Center on North Street gives kids a chance to make a mess and just have fun with shaving cream, clay, mud and finger painting. The group is led by Karen Cadman on Tuesdays, 10 a.m.

Medfield Schools’ superintendent and finance director reported Monday they’re within the current year’s $26,147,637 budget, but they might not be getting much more than that for FY10.

 The Medfield girls volleyball team won the state championship for the third time in four years on Saturday, cruising to a 3-0 decision over Central Catholic in the final match.

 The Warriors finished their championship run without dropping a set in five postseason matches.
